The first one is for me, PixelGeek Designs.  I have seriously been trying for years to make a logo, but I just cannot come up with anything I like (my web design, some graphics.. but as you all know, logos are a completely different animal!).  I, mostly, use the company for selling hybrid (scrapbook) templates.. but I would like something universal.  I am looking for clean, simple, clever and just plain awesome.

The second one is for my mom, ShaggyChic Petz.  She sells hand-made pet clothing and accessories (both dogs and cats).  For her, I would again like something clean, simple and clever.. but also with a boutique feel.

I have decided that I need a new logo for my company. I like my current brand but its a bit to playful I think. I want something more mature and maybe something more abstract.

The challange is going to be creating a concept that embodies both concepts of tech + dharma in a meaningful way. I thought we did that pretty well with out current logo but like I said, I think its too cartoonish for my industry.

I am open to setting the budget depending on what type of feedback I get. My goal is to get something that I love! Again, I think the challange is going to be creating the right concept.

I am the main developer and company owner. I've been working with web development since the Netscape Navigator era and know a bit about every aspect of it. I have however always fallen into the more technical category of development and have been weak design-wise.

I have developed around 20 different versions of the inheart logo (learning Illustrator quite well in the process) but I can't make anything I like well enough. Nothing that speaks to me. You know when you've looked at something just a bit too much and you start to dislike it?

Anyhow. We need help developing a logo that gives the right message. Something that both works with and without the company name (inheart/InHeart/In Heart). Something that works in print as well as on the web. Something that can be scaled down (in size and detail) to work as a website favicon, and still be recognizable. Something that would look good as a real lit-up sign on a building one day.

The current company slogan is: "What's in your heart?". That might give you a sense of what's needed. There are no specific color scheme since the website is all technical systems without any design layer right now. Open for everything!

Payment depending on quality of work, but in the area of (USD) $200 to $600 for the full rights and the raw working file. Payment via PayPal. If cooperation goes well there's more work coming up in the future.
