Please poke those who have them in the eye with a dull fork and then banish them from the Internets.

Seriously though - these are really annoying. Any chance you can would disallow .gifs for avatars?

ouch... that hurts wink seriously, if you need to animate it, do it subtly smile everything was more or less fine until recent flashing ones in no pause loop smile

email who you are talking about, most o fthe avatars are coming in from gravatar which i have no control over.
